Transferware is a type of pottery where designs are transferred onto the ceramic surface using engraved plates. Brown transferware was particularly popular in the 19th century and is often associated with Victorian-era aesthetics. The floral and paisley patterns, combined with the diamond shape, give this pitcher a distinctive, vintage look.
