This is a super fun mixed media piece. The heart eye was cast out of resin from a mould then hand painted. The lips are antique sheet music. The rest is painted in acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas.

The bright reddish background allows the details in the face to stand out while referencing the heart eye for a cohesive look.
